We are an Independent, Texas Broker that provides our agents the freedom and flexibility to operate YOUR business, YOUR way. We support all business models and encourage and empower our agents to compete for business.

Our story starts in Texas in 2000. Our Founder and President, Aaron Farmer, first received his brokers license and knew there were a lot of agents out there who wanted the freedom and independence to do business the way they wanted, without the restrictive franchise fees and rules that most have to deal with.

Aaron also founded Texas Discount Realty that year. In 2002, he publicly challenged a rule unfriendly to real estate consumers, which started real estate revolution. He gained national notoriety with his public stance and in 2005 was named by the Inman News as one of the Most Influential People in Real Estate. Also, in 2005, he was invited to be a panelist at a Department of Justice/Federal Trade Commission workshop on “Competition Policy in Real Estate Industry”. In July of 2006, Aaron, testified before a US Congressional Hearing over “The Changing Real Estate Market”. Aaron has been featured in numerous newspaper articles in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Dallas Morning News, Austin American Statesman, and many others as well as NPR radio and Television appearances.

Today, Aaron is still fighting for real estate consumers and agents alike. In 2009 he won a seat on the Board of Directors of the Austin Board of Realtors and in 2015 was named the President-Elect of the Board.
